Financial District

Rows of big buildings. Mostly they are banks. Some of them, however, are criminal fronts.

Docks

The docks are full of scum. Also, ships. It's not a safe place to be walking at night.

The Fortress

The headquarters for the opperation of the Syndicate of Murders. Headed and maintained by Iron Fang, a.k.a. Ivan Gorski--but not very well, as it is evidenced by the stench and the infestation of rats.

Upstairs

Bare rooms with brick walls and board floors. Dusty, cracked, full of vermin. These are the quarters of anyone on guard at The Fortress.

The Main Room

A simple brick room with doors leading to a descending and a ascending stair case. A flickering lightbulb provides the only light for the room, as there are no windows.

Downstairs

Stairs lead down to a catwalk from the main room, which extends over a deep pit. One wall is full of knives, one wall is full of monitors that are watching Aurora, and one wall is full of corpses. There are tunnels extending from the room, which lead into the sewers.

The Sewers

Dark, dank, and reeking, the sewers are partially flooded with soiled water and dead rodents. These tunnels connect all of Aurora City, and--as such--they are the perfect high way for the criminal fraternaty.

Slums

The dirtiest part of Aurora. Dilapitated apartments and bars and adult theatres cover this area. It's even more unsafe than the docks at night.

Commercial District

Big buildings abound here--department stores, buisnesses, high-priced apartments. Usually there's not much crime here. Certainly not with the Society of Crusader's HQ right in the middle of it.

Suburbs

A residential area full of quaint homes.

Richard R. Payne Penitentiary

Just outisde of Aurora City lies a hulking beast of a building made of brick and steel and barbed wire. Beyond the enormous walls and guard towers of the building, the most dangerous criminals to be caught and convicted are kept. This is the Richard R. Payne Maximum Security Penitentiary.
