Re: The Quest to Find Brazen
"Ahh!" screamed Obscuritia out of shock. She wasn't expecting that at all. She hit the wall and fell to the ground a bit dizzy. She staggered and tried to stand up. She didn't hit the wall that hard. It scared her more than actually hurting her.

Re: The Quest to Find Brazen
((Carefull, there, Jane--you're starting to tread into the territory of GodModding.))
The trashcan struck the Bull's helm and breastplate, knocking the air out of him. It could have been a very serious injury, but for the bronze protecting the areas. As it was, it merely made him slightly disoreinted and he was forced to pause briefly to get back his breath. He would have to thank Clyde later for designing the armour and making it so thick.
He narrowed his eyes at the little girl and started toward her again. This time he did not charge but, instead, moved with slow, powerful steps, his back straight and his shoulders squared. There was a sort of subdued anger in his movements, which suggested he had all intentions of seperating some part of the little psychic's body from the other parts.

((Sorry, I just don't want her to die. That was all I could think of. I will pipe down with her powers... =/ ))
Jane made a disgusted face when she saw the Brazen Bull uninjured. She had enough, she took a step back once he started walking towards her. She wanted to leave, the tall man wasn't going to be beaten easily. She wasn't quite sure how she would escape but she kept taking small steps back.

((I'm not going to kill her. That'd be godmodding, as well.))
Brazen Bull continued toward her, his face fixed on the child all the while as he advanced. When he was close enough that his eyes could be seen through the shadows of his helm, he paused. Slowly, he lifted up his hands and cracked his knuckles. The Bull snorted, and the sound clanked his face mask, sounding curiously like the animal he--by way of the torture device's naming--took his name from.

(Beth, your godmodeling. -sticks out tongue towards Elizabeth- >:D)
Obscuritia ran to the Brazen Bull, "Stop, that's enough!" She stood in front of him which, of course, wasn't a very smart thing to do. "Don't, she's just a kid," she repeated trying to make herself believe it.

"You saw what she can do. She's dangerous," growled the Brazen Bull, his words slow and measured. "Get out of my way."

Re: The Quest to Find Brazen
(( @ Chey; Yeah yeah yeah. -.-
@ Ash; Oh ok. >///<))
Jane smirked. Obscuritia was such a fool, a pure idiot. She was too kindhearted, this humored Jane. She used Obscuitia's distraction as an exit by running into the maze-like alleys. Moving things out of the way with her mind barely, she was extremely tired from all the fighting. Her powers needed to rest.
While running she wondering how Obscuritia could be so trusting. The Brazen Bull would most likely punch her to get her out of the way so he could chase Jane. He could even possibly knock her out in the process. "Too kindhearted," whispered Jane, still running. She said kindhearted with a hint of disgust. Obscuritia needed a reality check: the world is a awful place.

"No," she said firmly while standing her ground. She looked down with confusion. "She couldn't be a day over nine..." she said, this time her Irish accent was clearly noticeable. Jane was dangerous, Obscuritia knew that. She just couldn't grasp that a child would be the one to make the world worse.

"She's getting away!" said Brazen Bull. He growled in frustration. "God damn it, you can't be a goddamned bleeding heart here, you stupid little girl! You let the god damned criminals get away with that attitude! Now get out of my way, or I'll have your status as a Crusader yanked for aiding criminal scum."

She stepped to the side silently her head still down. She didn't want to, it was like her body moved on its own to avoid physical pain. "Alright then, Brazen, go ahead and hurt a little gal," she said the words with a bit of bitterness.

Re: The Quest to Find Brazen
Brazen Bull glared at her as he stepped past. "That's not a little girl, it's a monster," he said. "Not all of us live our lives paralized by fear and blindness, unable to act."
He started into a jog, and then a run, into the twisting alley, in search of Jane. He was soon out of sight of the original alley, and a labrynth of roads and allies and sidestreets lay before him. He knew them well. However, there was no sign of Jane. The trail had gone cold.
Brazen Bull cursed and kicked a trash can, denting it and knocking it to the ground where it lay, sad and crumpled, its contents adding more filth to the narrow alley. This was Obscuritia's fault. Brazen Bull fumed--if she hadn't been such a goddamned bleeding heart, he would have had that little monster. As it was, she was free, and it would only be a matter of time before something bad went down.

Re: The Quest to Find Brazen
Obscuritia wanted to grab a trash can herself and throw it at the Brazen Bull just as Jane did. "Your more the monster," she muttered. She knew that Jane was long gone, the girl was fast. Obscuritia felt a bit ashamed of herself but she kept trying to block it out. "God dammit, I'm not blind..." she started to walk unsure where she was going, "Am I?"
